Halloween Cake Decorating

Come and enjoy some spooky fun at my Halloween cake decorating workshop!

This time, we will be decorating a whole cake! The children will learn how to ice a cake using buttercream and will decorate their creation with pumpkins and ghosts!

When: Saturday 26th October from 10-12.30pm

A little about me...

I have worked in schools and nurseries all my life and in my spare time I love to bake. I have been awarded the PME Professional Masters Diploma in Sugarpaste, Royal Icing and Sugar Flowers. Now, I am combining my love of cake and working with children!

You can be reassured that your child is in safe hands as I have been DBS checked and my beautiful cake kitchen has been rated five-star by the Food Standards Agency.

Underwater-Themed Fun!

Saturday 31st August, 2024

Before the children go back to school, I will be running two cake decorating workshops on Saturday 31st August. Do come and join in for some tasty, summer fun!

In the morning workshop, the children will create six underwater-themed cupcakes.

When: Saturday 31st August from 10-11.30am

Where: Manea

In the afternoon, I will be running a workshop for children aged 7+. We will decorate some dainty donuts/cupcakes, creating pretty seaside decorations!

Father's Day - Make a burger cake for your dad!

Saturday 15th June, 2024

Surprise your dad with a burger, chips and coffee - all made out of cake! This workshop is suitable for children of any age, so do come along and join in the fun!

Winter Cupcake and Biscuit Decorating

Saturday 20th January, 2024

Start off the new year by bringing your child to my winter cupcake and biscuit decorating class, where they will have fun and learn new skills! Together, we will learn to decorate six winter-themed treats, including snowmen cupcakes and hot chocolate biscuits. We will also have a light lunch to fuel our creativity!

This workshop will be held from 10am - 12.30pm on Saturday 20th January in my cake kitchen in Manea. It is open to children aged seven years and over, and costs £30.

Christmas Biscuit Decorating

Friday 8th and Saturday 9th December, 2023

Join me in my cake kitchen for some festive fun learning how to decorate six beautiful Christmas biscuits. Let's get into the Christmas spirit together, learn new skills, and decorate some yummy festive biscuits to share with friends and family!

I am holding two of these workshops - one for children and one for adults. Children are welcome on Saturday 9th December from 10am - 1pm, during which time we will enjoy a fun-filled morning of biscuit decorating and have a light lunch together. Adults, bring your favourite Friday night drink for an evening of biscuit decorating on Friday 8th December from 7-9pm. Classes are £25 for children and £30 for adults, and are held at my home in Manea.

Halloween Cupcake Decorating

Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October, 2023

As Halloween approaches, now is the time to enjoy making some spooky sweet creations! In this bewitching workshop, your child will decorate six Halloween-themed cupcakes with frighteningly yummy spiders, pumpkins, ghosts, mummies and witches' hats! We will also enjoy a tasty brunch together.

If you think your child (aged 8 years or over) would enjoy modelling these Halloween creations, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page to request a place. This class costs £25 and will take place in my cake kitchen in Manea on both Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October from 10am-1pm. Please specify which day you would like to attend.

Bug Biscuit Decorating

Tuesday 1st August, 2023

This summer workshop will teach your child to decorate biscuits with playful caterpillars, worms, bees, dragonflies and snails! In creating these little creatures, your child will improve their sugarpaste modelling skills and create a sweet insect scene.

As usual, we will have a yummy light lunch to keep your child energised throughout our morning of fun!

Seaside Mermaid Cupcakes

Saturday 22nd July, 2023

This month's workshop involves decorating six pretty cupcakes depicting a seaside and mermaid theme. Your child will use buttercream, fondant moulds, icing dusts and their creativity to produce six beautifully iced cupcakes!

If you think your child might like this, do come along on Saturday 22nd July from 10am - 12.30pm.

This workshop is £25 and is best suited for children aged 8 years and over. During the morning, I will serve some light snacks to keep the children going whilst they are concentrating!

Fathers' Day Creations

Saturday 17th June, 2023

In this month's class, you and your daughter are both invited to make some delicious sweet treats for Fathers' Day! I will teach you to make and decorate three cakesicles, a cupcake resembling a takeaway coffee, two biscuits and two mini loaf cakes.

Your child can come alone or you can stay and make a box for your dad too! Each box will be £30 to make.

The class will be on Saturday 17th June from 9.30am - 12.30pm and during the morning we will break for a light snack.

I am excited for another fun and productive morning of sugarcraft with you!

Beautiful Blossom Biscuits

Would your child like to learn how to decorate some pretty, springtime biscuits?

If your child is aged 8 years or above, they are invited to learn some sugarcraft skills with me this Saturday! We will be icing biscuits, making delicate sugar flowers, painting blossom, and adding a finishing touch to our biscuits with royal icing piping.

The class will run from 9.30-11.30am on Saturday 20th May and during the morning we will break for tasty nibbles.

I look forward to another morning of sharing my love for sugarcraft!

Easter Egg Decorating

Saturday 8th April, 2023

If your child would like to decorate an Easter egg with sugar paste flowers and Easter characters, do come and join me in my cake kitchen on Saturday 8th April.

Your child will learn how to model with sugar paste and pipe with royal icing to create an Easter scene in a yummy chocolate egg.

The class will run from 9.30am - 12.30pm, and we will have a mid-morning break for snacks. For £25, your child can enjoy three hours of sweet, chocolatey fun!

As this session is working with sugar paste on a small scale, it is best suited for children aged 8 years and over.

Mother's Day Cake Decorating

A sneak preview... but no spoilers!

Does your child have an interest in cake decorating? If your child is aged seven years or older, they are welcome to join me in my cake kitchen on Saturday 18th March from 9.30am - 12.30pm to create you a beautiful Mother's Day cake.

Your child will buttercream a small cake and decorate it with sugar flowers and butterflies. For £25, you can relax for three hours whilst we have some sugary fun!

Christmas Jumper Biscuits

Celebrate Christmas Jumper Day and support Save the Children by decorating Christmas jumper biscuits with me from 9-11am on Saturday 10th December!
